The Muskegon Catholic girls basketball squad defeated Holton 41-35 in a non-conference game on Monday night.
Erin LaVigne paced the Crusaders with 14 points, while McKenna Gentry added 13 and Claire LaVigne had seven.
The Red Devils were led by Madi Bosset 16 points while Ryann Robins had nine.
Muskegon Catholic Central is now 5-7 overall on the season.
WEST MICHIGAN CONFERENCE
SHELBY 41, OAKRIDGE 30 – The Tigers led 10-6 after the first quarter, trailed 15-14 at halftime and had a 29-25 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. Shelby closed out the game with a 12-5 run.
Kendall Zoulek led the Tigers with 13 points, 11 rebounds and three assists, while Lexi Schultz added seven points and four steals. Lauren Brown pulled down 12 rebounds.
The Eagles were led by Leah Lowry with 12 points and six steals, while Lily Blackburn added five points and six steals. Jasmine Pastor chipped in with five points.
RAVENNA 44, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 39- The Bulldogs earned a West Michigan Conference win on Monday night.
Ravenna trailed 6-4 after the opening stanza, led 18-16 at halftime and had a 32-26 lead going into the fourth quarter.
The Spartans were led by Adria Quigley with 12 points, six rebounds and four steals, while Jaden Petersen added 10 points and two steals.
Mason County Central fell to 4-11 on the season and 3-9 in league play.
HESPERIA 54, MASON COUNTY EASTERN 18- The Panthers cruised to a non-league win on Monday night.
Emily Bayle scored 11 points, pulled down 16 rebounds and had four steals, while Emmi Tinkham paced Hesperia offensively with 14 points.
Rachel Romero added 11 rebounds for the Panthers.
The Panthers jumped out to a 14-4 lead after the opening stanza, led 25-11 at halftime and had a 39-15 advantage through three quarters.
Hesperia is now 6-5 on the season and 2-5 in league play.
SPARTA 51, FREMONT 46- The Packers led 16-8 at the end of the first quarter but trailed 29-27 at halftime after a 21-11 Sparta run.
Fremont trailed 39-36 heading into the fourth quarter.
Calla Miller paced the Packers with 11 points, while Jessica Bennett added 10 points and Kaitlynn Bennett pulled down nine rebounds.
Fremont is now 4-11 overall and 4-8 in league play.
